1. About CityBrew

CityBrew (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personalized local events newsletter service operated by Michael Maxwell. By accessing citybrew.ai or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use CityBrew. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@citybrew.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. The Service

CityBrew sends AI-curated event recommendations to subscribers in Columbus, Ohio. Content is generated using large language models and is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any event listed. You should verify event details independently before attending.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Submit false or misleading information during onboarding

6. Intellectual Property

All content on citybrew.ai — including the CityBrew name, logo, newsletter copy, and design — is owned by or licensed to Michael Maxwell. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Michael Maxwell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed $100.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting hello@citybrew.ai. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
